Slip Away
Have you ever felt something someone you dearly love slip away from you and there's nothing you can do to stop it?
That 'someone' doesn't have to be a lover, they can a a simple 'friend' or maybe a very close friend.
Here is my story.
There was a girl, bright and innocent. Adored by everyone, liked by all. And as she was liked, a certain creature got their eyes on her. They turned her green and tainted her whole.
She was not a monster- and far from a sinister. But we can break a couple of rules or two right?
Have you ever heard of 'Rules are made to be broken' ? No? Then I've lost every hope in you.
Today, 3rd March 2013.
Something that scarred our friendship- forever, most probably- has happen. What you may ask? That I can't tell.
But I'm sure we both felt it. From now and on, our friendship will not be the same, there are boundaries for she has become what 'they' have turned her to be. And whatnot for what I am now, there is no way to fix this half-way broken friendship of ours. (My, my, I sure do love to speak in riddles and make you confuse don't I?)
Simply spoken; she has been changed -and as I told you- by 'them'. That is how I feel her slip away from me, someone so close has been slipping away from me and I could do nothing to stop it. We used to break the rules- but not every time- together. Now it's just me and she was trying to stop me.
As I dance my fingers across the keyboard, I thought of something. I've had quite enough of you and your transformation for today. Let's wish you won't have to show anymore of it anytime soon. And if you do, that'll be the last straw. We can consider ourselves as strangers then- that sounded harsh to announce an end to a friendship you've build since two years and a quarter ago, so let me correct myself- We could consider ourselves acquaintance , but that's just about it. She will be somebody that I used to know.
I will not be writing this if I had someone who can understand me. And the obvious problem is, I think there will not be anyone who does.
